On the Spectrum #54 - Backseat Driver

This was very hard to draw. And the funny thing is that I decided to do this one because I thought the one I'd originally wanted to do tonight would be hard to draw! LOL.

I'm not sure how many of you see this sort of thing...  Every time we go by, for example, the Car Wash, Michael tells us "No Car Wash!"  Now, we haven't been into a car wash with him in like six years.  And there's one around the corner from our house.  So we drive by it 3-5 times a week at least.  So we've literally driven past it about a THOUSAND TIMES, never ONCE been IN IT (with him anyway) and he still feels the need to tell us!

Terri Mauro made a link to this place, so I decided to come and check it all out.

There are so many improvisations here. And something really scary might happen in a car wash.

Thanks for stopping by and for your comment.

Out of curiosity... I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'improvisations.'

I will say that the stories are all based on actual experiences, and taht I try to depict them as true to life as possible, only changing what I absolutely have to fit them into the four-panel format. (I try not to do series if I can help it, and I haven't gone beyond a couple of 2-parters yet.)

I'm not sure if that's what you meant, but if you come back, please let me know.

Thanks again for commenting!

My brother Dewane does things a little differently here... the car wash is one of his favorite things.. idky... lol. But if we want to bribe him, and we need a big bribe, we use the car wash. And then he goes and asks to go the car wash all the time.. even in the winter when the car is in 2 feet of snow ^_^

I told that to Michael (that your brother LOVES the car wash) but it didn't seem to pursuade him. LOL.
