This is one of Michael's absolute favorites. I think he thinks it's funny when Jacob gets yelled at.

There a lesson here, and it applies to both autistics as well as neurotypical people who happen to not speak your language: TALKING LOUDER PROBABLY WON'T HELP.

Ah, the challenge of breaking a kids attention from the TV... plus the challenge of breaking the attention of a kid with autism away from anything....

Yep. They way I put it to my father one time was, "You don't have to be louder, you have to be more interesting." (Now that I think of it, that sounds a little bit like an insult, but it's basically true. LOL)
