On the Spectrum #37 & 38 - Helen Keller jokes

No, we do not approve of 'Helen Keller jokes'...

And we're probaly going to hell for thinking about them in that second to last panel!

This is one of my favorites though. "I want to put the couch away!" is one of the reasons this strip even exsists. It's not quite as funny at three in the morning... But still.

I recognize this one! GL takes his medicine at 7:00. It takes him and hour or more to get to sleep, and if his brother's in the room, he'll never settle down, so BB goes to our bed until GL is asleep. About midnight, GL gets up, gets himself a snack, and moves to the couch. He may be up and down several more times in the night, depending on how well he is sleeping.

One night, my wife wasn't sleeping well, so she moved to the couch. About midnight, PLOP! He plopped down right on top of her. BOING! he bounced back up like on a trampoline. He was very much annoyed that she was in his spot.

When my wife's friend visited from out of town, we put her on the top bunk, GL on the bottom bunk, and sent BB to a friend's overnight. We didn't think she'd take being bounce on as well as Mama Bear did.

Papa Bear,

OMG, that's funny! Thanks so much for sharing that! I love hearing about how these stories have parallels in other people's lives. A lot of this stuff is universal, even if it's not exactly the same, I guess!

Thanks for the comment!
